Created attachment 137762 [details] kcrash logs SUMMARY Hello, The last couple of days I 'm experiencing an issue when trying to save a PDF using Chromium (or any Chromium based browser, eg Chrome, Brave, Vivaldi, etc). This is specific to saving PDF files. There is no problem with any other file type (eg, .zip, .tar.gz, etc.) as far as I can tell. I 'm using the latest version of KDE Neon which is fully up-to-date. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Just open a PDF from a website and hit the download button using Chromium 2. "The save as" dialog will open in order to save the PDF file (the file is saved as expected). 3. 1 or 2 seconds later a message pops up in relation to kdeinit5 crashing OBSERVED RESULT kdeinit5 keeps crashing every time following the aforementioned steps, but the PDF file is saved. EXPECTED RESULT The PDF file should be saved as expected without any messages about kdeinit5 crashing popping up. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Windows: macOS: Linux/KDE Plasma: Kde Neon 20.04 (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: 5.21.4 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.81.0 Qt Version: 5.15.2 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION I 'm attaching some logs from kdeinit5 crashes I experienced earlier today.
On top of what I described I 've noticed the exact same behaviour when trying to upload the log files using Chromium. Probably something wrong caused by a recent KDE Neon update?

Confirming the bug. When opening a dialog from a browser (vivaldi) kdeinit5 crashes. Operating System: Manjaro Linux KDE Plasma Version: 5.21.4 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.81.0 Qt Version: 5.15.2 Kernel Version: 5.4.112-1-MANJARO OS Type: 64-bit Graphics Platform: X11 Processors: 8 × Intel® Core™ i7-3632QM CPU @ 2.20GHz Memory: 11.6 ГиБ of RAM Graphics Processor: Mesa DRI Intel® HD Graphics 4000
I get the same behaviour when trying to print/save a web page as PDF.
