SUMMARY VPN connections are mixed with unregistered WIFI networks. When I want to connect to a VPN connection, I often miss-click on unregistered WIFI connection, because when I open the applet, WIFI starts scanning and adds new unregistered connections to the list on top of my registered VPN connections. This can happen in a split of a second and results in miss-clicks. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Add VPN networks to your network connections. 2. Ensure that there are more unregistered WIFI connections in your area. 3. To initiate VPN, click on network applet in System Tray 4. When network applet opens, you might see that unregistered WIFIs and VPN connections starts to reshuffle in the list of connections (depends on the WIFI SSID naming) 5. If you want to connect to your VPN connection and reshuffling starts at the same time, you might accidentally click on unregistered WIFI rather than the VPN connection, because the VPN connection changes its position in the list. OBSERVED RESULT VPNs and unregistered WIFI connections are mixed together which can result in miss-clicks when WIFI connections are being updated. EXPECTED RESULT VPN connections should have its own section to avoid reshuffling when WIFI networks are updated. Configured VPNs should have higher priority and should be on top of available unknown networks. Can you share a screenshot?

Created attachment 137754 [details] screenshot2 Here is another screenshot which is captured right after you enable Network WIFI. The VPNs are not there at all for a second and they jump in.
I see on your screenshot that VPNs are above unknown wireless networks so it shouldn't happen your VPNs change order and no misclick is possible.

The VPNs are not there at all for a second and they jump in. Probably not there because you were not connected before. Once they appear, they will show up again above your list of unknown networks and no jump should happen afterwards.
Created attachment 137755 [details] screenshot3 You are right. Right now I am not able to reproduce. I also noticed that when I mouse over the bottom the list jumps up. Is this a feature or bug? Anyway you can probably close this. I will keep experimenting until I find it. Thx
