Description tbotnik@gmail.com 2021-04-19 15:25:58 UTC
Sirs;

In this bug forum, instead of using the names shown to users, you actually use the code name so the average user can not find the application to submit to.

I'm running Kubuntu 18.04 LTS and having issues with "Recent Documents: which I wrote up at:

https://forum.kde.org/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=170921&p=444950#p444950

I was told, by Mamarok there, that "Recent Documents" is an app within Plasma 5 and that I should report the issue here, but searching or attempting to open a bug here is useless, unless I'm a "CORE" guru knowing the exact name of the app within Plasma 5.

That's why you get so few bugs reported as there is no "General Help" here on this forum, so that the average user can post Qs like mine here to find the place to submit the actual issues the user is facing!

Please assist in this effort to get my issues with "Recent Documents" fixed!

Cheers!

TBNK

Please file your bug against the "plasmashell" component here.

Thanks in advance for understanding.

Yuri,

Thanks! for your response! Will post in "plasmashell", but please add a "General Help" session to the app list, so all will know where to reach out for finding the right app to post a bug against!

Cheers!
