I try to rename all my pictures like camera modell datetime. Because i have many pictures from different people, the datetiem settimgs are offen incorrect or there are many pictures with the same datetime offset. I Try to change the exifdates of theses pictures with a offset of one second. After my last question, thats works good in the datetime changer with the intrevall option. But i must allways leave the renaming process, find the right picures, change the exif datetime and go return to the renaming process. It will be great, if i could select theses pictures sirectly in the renaming process, change the exif infos and can work with the next pictures in the renaming.
I think you will have to find a different strategy for renaming. We can't possibly merge the Time Adjust Tool with the Renaming Tool. Have you ever tried renaming with the unique operator {unique}? Then filter the images accordingly, edit them with the Time Adjust Tool and rename them again. Maik
Sorry, what did you mean with the unique operator? Thomas
Is the advanced renaming tool different from the renaming toll (F2) ?
Not sure, which workflow you mean
Meanwhile, i found the uniqe operator. But there is another problem. How can i filter about that operator? If i use them a number with prefix _ is added to the name like Canon 28_01_01 10_00_00_1. Ok, i could filter with text _1. But there are many files also with the _1 in the regular name.
The filter tab in the right sidebar understands wildcards since digiKam-7.2.0. So, for example, it is possible: *_?.jpg Maik
Ok. I will try it. But if ha have more than 9 pictures with the same datetime, i got two digits at the end. Will it be possible to add an option to the uniqe attribut to add any text like double? Thomas
Maik, I turn this one a wishlist as the option from comment #7 do not exists yet, if i'm not too bad. Gilles
