SUMMARY Hover effects missing on minimise/maximise/close buttons with Lightly theme STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Install Lightly 0.4 2. Use Lightly for window decorations 3. Open Firefox or Thunderbird 4. Hover minimise/maximise/close buttons to see that everything works as expected 5. Hide title bar through Firefox/Thunderbird customisation menu 6. Hover minimise/maximise/close buttons to see that the hover effects are missing OBSERVED RESULT Hover effects on minimise/maximise/close buttons are missing when EXPECTED RESULT Hover effects should work SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Operating System: Manjaro Linux KDE Plasma Version: 5.21.3 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.80.0 Qt Version: 5.15.2 Kernel Version: 5.11.10-1-MANJARO OS Type: 64-bit Graphics Platform: X11 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Lightly devs have pointed out that this is likely to be an issue with breeze-gtk: https://github.com/Luwx/Lightly/issues/50 Hover effects work perfectly fine in KDE apps (e.g. Dolphin or Kate) but are missing in Firefox and Thunderbird. Clicking on the button changes its colour as expected. It's just a minor detail in the area of theme consistency but maybe it's fixable somehow? I think it's not the same issue as described here (https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=426687) but I'm not fully sure.
This would be an issue with kde-gtk-config if it was an upstream issue; moving there. Does this only happen with Lightly? If it does, it's a downstream issue and Lightly is drawing window decorations incorrectly, meaning kde-gtk-config is unable to extract them for use by GTK.
