SUMMARY While copying/moving a movie/file from/to HDD, the system becomes really slow and lags to respond. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Connect to any HDD 2. Start copying/moving any file (let's say more than 1 Gb of size). 3. Until the file operation is completed, the system behaves extremely slow, negligeble response. OBSERVED RESULT: =============== High system slowness during any file operation. EXPECTED RESULT: =============== System should be able to work as usual parallelly keeping the file operation task in background. If copying with e.g. cp has the same effect, then there is nothing on KIO side that can be easily done.
