STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Open Konsole in a fresh environmemt, there is only Default profile 2. Modify Default Profile OBSERVED RESULT There are now two profiles: 'Default' and 'Profile 1'. They clutter the New Tab button. EXPECTED RESULT When changing the Default profile, I expect to change the Default profile, not add a copy called 'Profile 1'. Operating System: Kubuntu 21.04 KDE Plasma Version: 5.21.3 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.80.0 Qt Version: 5.15.2 Kernel Version: 5.11.11 OS Type: 64-bit Graphics Platform: X11 Processors: 8 × Intel® Core™ i7-10510U CPU @ 1.80GHz Memory: 31.2 GiB of RAM Graphics Processor: Mesa Intel® UHD Graphics
Can you attach a screenshot of the menu in question as well as your "Manage Profiles" window? Thanks!
The "Default" profile is the built-in/immutable/fallback profile; it can't be modified, instead a new profile is created (which is a copy of the fallback one); so, this is per design (we've had a plethora of bugs related to the editing of the Default profile).
Ok, that's what I was afraid of. Would be nice if there was a way to hide the Default (in the New Tab button) after changing it to 'Profile 1'?
AFAIK, currently there is no way to hide the Default profile from menus ...etc.
