SUMMARY As described in summary, the multimedia control will result in application crashing when the Android device is in landscape mode. If the device is in landscape mode from the start, touch "Multimedia control" will result in an immediate crash. If the device is in portrait mode, the multimedia control page shows up correctly and it is functional. However, it still immediately crash when the device switches from portrait to landscape. I have tested this on two devices: Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 and Oneplus 7 pro. This bug happens on both devices. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Open VLC and play an video on computer. 1. Open the "Multimedia control" function on Android "KDE Connect". 2. Make the Android device go to landscape mode. OBSERVED RESULT Immediate crash. EXPECTED RESULT Similar UI as portrait mode.
