(*** This bug was imported into bugs.kde.org ***) Package: kmail Version: 1.4.1 (using KDE 3.0.1 ) Severity: normal Installed from: Mandrake Linux Cooker i586 - Cooker Compiler: gcc version 2.96 20000731 (Mandrake Linux 8.2 2.96-0.76mdk) OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.18-6mdk OS/Compiler notes: When you wish to delete a lot of mails (i mean about 800) it takes a lot in IMAP. I know that IMAP supports something like "range of messages" so if i wish to delete from message 10 to 300 and from 350 to 750 simply i need to put imap delete command with "100-300350-750" (Submitted via bugs.kde.org) (Called from KBugReport dialog)

If deleting message takes long then you probably have KMail configured to store the deleted mails in the local trash folder.
