Description Mina 2021-04-03 20:03:47 UTC
SUMMARY
Spectacle not taking screenshots anymore.

And also it's not showing the dialogue that it used to show. I use the dialogue to either save the screenshot or copy the screenshot if I want to.

How can I (obviously) make it save the screenshots? And how can I make it show the dialogue? Or alternatively, how do I copy the screenshot?

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Press the prt sc button
2. Drag a box
3. Hit enter

OBSERVED RESULT
I don't find the screenshot in the Pictures folder.

EXPECTED RESULT
I should find the screenshot in the pictures folder.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Press the prt sc button

OBSERVED RESULT
No dialogue appears. It prompts me to drag a box right away.

EXPECTED RESULT
A dialogue used to appear.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Strange. I did `killall spectacle` and now this doesn't happen anymore. Sorry for the ping.

One thing to note is that this issue happened after an update.

This means that Spectacle was secretly still running in the background.
Comment 3 Antonio Prcela 2021-05-17 21:56:43 UTC
@Mina - so we can close this one as it can not be reproduced?
Comment 4 Mina 2021-05-17 22:24:47 UTC
Yea I guess so. I don't think it happened again.
