SUMMARY
Laptop display won't automatically turn on after opening the lid.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Close the laptop lid.
2. Wait until screen timeout is reached. (Settings-Power Management-Energy Saving-On AC Power-Screen Energy Saving-Switch off after)
3. Open the laptop lid.

OBSERVED RESULT
Laptop display won't automatically turn on after opening the lid, instead mouse or keyboard interactions are needed to turn on the display.

EXPECTED RESULT
When the laptop lid is closed, after screen timeout is reached (Settings-Power Management-Energy Saving-On AC Power-Screen Energy Saving-Switch off after), open the laptop lid, laptop display should automatically turn on.

Linux/KDE Plasma: Ubuntu 21.04

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
It seems the bug is related to Wayland, for the bug doesn't appear in X session.
