Description shout 2021-04-01 17:05:59 UTC
Attempting to set any environment path in `Settings > Configure Kdenlive > Environment` results in a complete freeze of the application, requiring a force close (manual killing of process).

The application freezes as soon as the file browser opens to select a location.

This is reproducible every time.

Nothing appears in the system log (journald).

Thanks for your report. I can reproduce if I try to set path in "Default Folder". This seems to be an issue with the folder select dialog (it is the same if you try the folder in Project > Archive Project. (Changed the title)

I cannot reproduce the freeze, possibly because of newer version of xdg-desktop-portal, no idea. However, in order to have folder selection dialog to work you need to have https://invent.kde.org/frameworks/kio/-/merge_requests/445.

I'm running the Kdenlive Flatpak on System76's Oryx Pro 7 and Pop!_OS 20.04. I have a similar issue every time I select "Search Recursively" in the Clip Problems window that pops up after opening a project with missing or moved files. A file browser (a KDE-styled one, not Pop!_OS's) appears with the missing files located, but Kdenlive's main window, the Clip Problems window, and the file browser all become completely frozen and I have to close the program by running "flatpak kill org.kde.kdenlive" in the terminal.

OS: Pop!_OS 20.04 LTS
