Description Hatl 2021-03-30 13:03:01 UTC
Would be nice to have a check box for removing all unconfirmed faces before starting the recognition.
Or "recognize all unconfirmed" faces.

That makes no sense. To remove unconfirmed faces, they would be present again with the next face recognition. And rejecting correct suggestions would be bad for a good training database. They either reject all suggestions or confirm correct unconfirmed faces. By the way, you can mark them all and confirm or reject them all at once.

That makes sense, if you have thousands of wrong suggestions :-)
Unfortunately, the 7.1 implementation of face recognition wasn't that accurate.
So re-doing the recognition with the new algorithm should give a much better result.

Unfortunately, the marking takes already quite some time due to >50k suggestions

The feature is already present in the maintenance window, but it would be nice to have a check-box directly in the face detection/recognition window

Hi Michael,

Another idea to possibly considerate, or no...

Hi Gilles,
I think we can close this. The workflow now will clear a suggestion for a face/image if it's not suggested in the most recent recognition run.

Cheers,
Mike
