SUMMARY
in wayland the option "open new folders in tabs" does not work but it`s fine in xorg

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. open dolphin in wayland
2. go to settings -> configure dolphin -> startup -> check open new folders in tabs
3. open a folder from your desktop
4. the folder should open in new tab but it opens in new window

OBSERVED RESULT
when we have a dolphin window open and then open a folder the folder opens in a new window

EXPECTED RESULT
it should open as a new tab in the existing window

Works for me in my git master Plasma Wayland session.

I can reproduce on Wayland session of Plasma 5.22 beta, Arch Linux.

Hmm, this is working fine for me with the latest git master.

For the people able to reproduce, are you using multiple virtual desktops?

Oh actually never mind, I can reproduce the issue. The new window was simply covering my old window so I didn't notice. :)

This is now resolved in 5e84fffd6ed97a173d7250e7563998ea5dc395a0
