Hello, I know firewalld can run on top of nftables, but personally I'd rather manage nftables without firewalld. Thanks.

Are you also willing to help a bit on how to implement?

I'm by no means a nftables user, and I'd need a hand or two there.
I'll be working on the firewall this weekend, if you want to join.

I am willing to help to the best of my ability, but my cpp knowledge is very mediocre.
I can help with testing and possibly understanding some nftables points if needed.
