Can you give an example of an app that does this? What do you mean exactly by "popup"? A dialog window? Something else? A screenshot or screen recording might help too. Thanks!

Hi. I've got recording of my desktop.

As you can see panel doesn't hide but is set to auto hide. It happened after moving panel between edges i think. But before I was same happened after normal work.
Comment 4 Nate Graham 2021-04-01 22:52:30 UTC
Well that's strange. It looks like it starts hiding and then immediately opens again.

Can you narrow down the circumstances under which it happens? For example does it happen when there are no windows at all open? Does it happen if you apply auto-hide to a new panel? Does it happen in a new user account? etc.

Hi.
On clean account everything worked ok, until I changed global scale to 130%, and added some random widgets and then start moving panel between edges. I'm nearly sure that it mostly happen after adding Color Picker widget.
Please let me know if you need more narrowed down circumstances.
Comment 6 Nate Graham 2021-04-12 15:48:48 UTC
So does it work again if you remove the Color Picker widget?
Comment 7 Michał Zubkowicz 2021-04-12 16:25:52 UTC
Nope, it's just easier to reproduce when it's added.
It happens after moving between edges multiple times.
Comment 8 Nate Graham 2021-04-12 18:27:27 UTC
Ok.
Comment 9 Nate Graham 2023-09-18 20:59:28 UTC
I still can't reproduce this, now in Plasma 6 Wayland. Can I ask you to re-test in Plasma 5.27 to see if it's fixed for you now? Thanks!
