SUMMARY Selecting a shape(box) I've created with gradient lines automatically changes the fill color of that shape to the main color of the gradient. Every possible way I try to change the fill color of the shape in the tool options causes it to revert instantly to the aforementioned color. I want to have a shape with gradient lines and a semi-translucent fill color, but it is completely impossible with this glitch and has halted development on my project, which requires this effect. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Make shape with gradient lines. 2. De-select then re-select shape. 3. Attempt to change fill color while lines are set to a gradient. OBSERVED RESULT Shape fill color automatically changes, and primary/secondary brush colors change too. All further attempts to change these colors reverts them. EXPECTED RESULT Shape fill color should change to what I choose from the color selector in the tool options for shape lines/fills. (In reply to Sharaf from comment #1) > Hello! We fixed this recently: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=422204 Did you fix it within the last week? because I'm on the latest version of Krita and no it is not fixed on that version, I cannot customize shape fills if they have gradient strokes/lines, it keeps glitching out and forcing the gradient strokes main color to be the only thing in the fill. I'm open to suggestions, I really need to be able to have gradient lines and a translucent dark fill for my project.
Yes, exactly, see: > Committed on 01/04/2021 at 05:48. > Pushed by dkazakov into branch 'master'. That means you can test Krita Next from the website (make sure to backup your resources and configuration first!) to see if it works. However Krita Next is not ready for production yet :(
