SUMMARY:

This is recent / new behavior. On Neon, after starting Kontact or KMail, pressing the 'New Message' button will crash the application with no warning. This behavior was not present a week or so ago. I do have all debug symbols installed, but they are not triggered on crash.


STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open Kontact or KMail
2. Press 'New Message' button 
3. Crash

OBSERVED RESULT:

Insta-crash


EXPECTED RESULT:

Email composer is launched

When run from Konsole, the following is output:
