This video demostrates the feature as much as possible. In the original feature the folders should be replaced with stack icon.

SUMMARY
This is a feature request to implement a stacking mechanism in the plasma desktop. This will arrange desktop icons according to types and put them into different stacks(icons looking like stack). When clicked the stack will expand and will let the user see the icons corresponding to the category of the stack. This will make the desktop clutter free yet useful for placing icons in the desktop.
