Description Lastique 2021-03-21 20:33:27 UTC
SUMMARY

If one or more files in a downloaded torrent are deleted by an external application, and the torrent is removed with data from KTorrent, it does not delete any files of the torrent.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE

1. Download a torrent that has multiple files in it.
2. Delete one of the files with an external application (e.g. from a Konsole session).
3. In KTorrent, right-click on the torrent and select Remove Torrent and Data.

OBSERVED RESULT

KTorrent displays an error saying that the file you deleted is missing. If you removed multiple files, only one of them is mentioned. The torrent is then removed from KTorrent, but the files of the torrent remain in the filesystem.

EXPECTED RESULT

The torrent files should be removed.

I would suggest to also ignore any missing files and not display any warnings, since the files need to be deleted anyway.
