SUMMARY I have 40GB on my root (/) and filelight notified me that I had only 100MB free, so I went to see what was big to be able to remove, however, when I did the disk analysis I was returned only 28GB disk use. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Create several volumes and containers using Docker, it will use a few GB of its root (/). (12GB in my case) 2. Open Filelight 3. Observe the consumption shown on start screen 4. Now do an analysis of your root (/). 5. Now you can see that the disk consumption shown on the start screen is different from the disk consumption when you do the analysis. OBSERVED RESULT 28GB disk use EXPECTED RESULT 40GB disk use. (With Docker disk use) SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux/KDE Plasma: 5.11.7-arch1-1 KDE Plasma Version: 5.21.3 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.80.0 Qt Version: 5.15.2-1 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION The same problem happened with ncdu, the consumption reported in the analysis is different from the actual consumption. Docker version 20.10.5, build 55c4c88966
Hi there, Can you please elaborate a bit more on this one? I'm a bit lost between the words and descriptions. Also, a screenshot would be very useful indeed.
