STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Connect to an ssh server
2. List everything in the directory (`ls -la`)
3. Hover your mouse over the dots that indicate the current and previous folder 

OBSERVED RESULT
The folders on the local machine are displayed in thumbnails

Yep, that's rather strange - I don't get any thumbnails shown just the error below.

QPixmap::scaled: Pixmap is a null pixmap

I'd guess we'd have to determine if it a remote or local file.
