One has to use the commandline with the cvt and xrandr commands to show the desktop in fullscreen. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. What is the native resolution of your monitor, and can you share a screenshot of the screen settings page with its resolution drop-down open?
Created attachment 136702 [details] Screenshot Systemsettings Dialog screen settings The physical screen resolution is 2560x1080@60.00 and could be set after an additional file 10-ultrawide.conf was placed in /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/ with the additional Modeline for the physical resolution (see link in previous post).
