SUMMARY STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. disabling applications transfer for notifications (System Settings → Notifications, under "Application progress", uncheck the "Show in Notifications" checkbox.) there is no more info about transfers in Dolphin at all (except in the task manager, but they cannot be then monitored, stopped etc). 2. leaving "Show in task manager" checked OBSERVED RESULT there is no more info about transfers in Dolphin at all (except in the task manager, but they cannot be then monitored, stopped etc). EXPECTED RESULT a separate window should open with all transfer details like in the case when both task manager and notifications are disabled for applications progress SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Windows: macOS: Linux/KDE Plasma: Kubuntu 20.04 (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: 5.18.5 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.68.0 Qt Version: 5.12.8 (but in later Plasma it's the same) ADDITIONAL INFORMATION more details: https://forum.kde.org/viewtopic.php?f=83&t=170403&p=443653#p443653 https://askubuntu.com/a/1322627/925128
Is this really about KMyMoney? I don't see the connection, but I'm not really sure where to file it.
@Jack I'm sorry for my error - I'm a newbie here, when I've noticed it was filed under KMyMoney I was not able to change it. The issue involves plasmashell (notifications) and the specific settings in systemsettings5. I don't know if these are chapters to filing thereunder nor how to do that if they are. Thank you.

Maybe it's about "plasma-integration"?
It seems I do have the ability to change it, so I've used plasmashell, and someone in that team will see is and adjust further as appropriate.
I agree overall. When not using Plasma native notifications, you should get old-fashioned dialog notifications, irrespective of whether or not you have task manager progress enabled or disabled, because it's not really a substitute.
