Description CzAndrew 2021-03-09 00:46:25 UTC
SUMMARY
Scrolling up with mouse wheel doesn't change the numbers. (Scrolling down is working.)

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Add a clip to project bin then timeline.
2. Right click on the clip, then choose edit duration for example.
3. Place the cursor on the numbers, then try to scroll up or down... increasing the numbers doesn't work, decreasing works.
The same problem exists when I add an effect and I want to change the length with the mouse wheel.

Win10, Kdenlive 20.12.3; fullHD 59.94 fps

Make sure the clip end is not on the "real" end of the clip. Then up doesn't work because no more frames are available.

Shorten the clip on the end with the mouse and try again.

Scrolling up doesn't work in duration nor in effects.
Even after I scrolled down, scrolling up to the original value doesn't work.

This seems to be a Win10 bug (on Win7 it works as expected). Scroll up works very slow, you have to turn the mouse wheel ca. 10-20 times more to get the numbers up. Can you confirm that?
Comment 4 CzAndrew 2021-03-15 21:15:21 UTC
I tried, and in my case the numbers don't go up at all.

Do you use any other KDE or QT software? Can you test whether this bug happens with this software too?
Comment 6 diekuhrannte@web.de 2024-03-29 19:33:34 UTC
Can you please report whether the problem still exists? Or can we close the bug report?
