Description CzAndrew 2021-03-09 00:26:35 UTC
SUMMARY
Clip in project bin doesn't work correctly on grouped clips. Only one clip can be showed in the project bin.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open a new project, add two items to the project bin. (For example, create two title clips.)
2. Add the two elements to the timeline, select them, then right click->group clips.
3. Right click on one of the clip in the grouped clip, then choose "clip in project bin", then do the same for the other clip on the group.

OBSERVED RESULT
The focus jumps to one of the clip in the project bin, in both cases. So if you choose "clip in project bin" on the first clip in the timeline, then the focus will be on the first clip on the project bin, when you choose "clip in project bin" on the second clip on the timeline, the focus goes to the first clip on the project bin, so the various clips on the timeline in the group links to one clip in the project bin.
Seems to me that every clip on the timeline links only to the clip which was selected first.

EXPECTED RESULT
The various clips on the timeline links to their clips in the project bin.

Thank you for reporting this issue. I can confirm this behavior with grouped clips which is not correct.
Comment 2 emohr 2024-12-24 08:39:30 UTC
I can't reproduce this with the latest version 24.12.0 anymore. It jumps to the correct clip in the project bin.

Please update and check again. If this is fixed, please close this report. Otherwise please leave a short comment, set back the status to REPORTED and update the version number.
