SUMMARY

Currently, almost all text editors (Sublime, VSCode, Notepad++, GEdit) save and restore the cursor position for the recent files, which is a pretty useful feature. It would be nice to have the same feature in KWrite, but with the ability to enable/disable it (for those who don't like it).

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS

Linux/KDE Plasma: KDE neon 5.21 / X11
KDE Plasma Version: 5.21.2
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.79
Qt Version: 5.15.2

Kate has that feature, KWrite is the simplified variant.
If you want to have more Sublime/VSCode/Notepad++ please use Kate, KWrite is by design not stuffed with that many features.
