SUMMARY
Recent konsole versions (20.12.2) are displaying pasted text inverse/highlighted without option to disable this "capability".

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Select text from konsole
2. Paste selection

KDE-Plasma-Version: 5.21.1
KDE-Frameworks-Version: 5.79.0
Qt-Version: 5.15.2
Kernel-Version: 5.10.19_1

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Older konsole versions (17.12.3 from Ubuntu 18.04) are showing pasted text without additional attributes, which is much more readable.

This is a bash 5.1 feature, it has nothing to do with konsole. See https://lwn.net/Articles/839212/

Confirmed. Having "set enable-bracketed-paste off" in inputrc avoids this annoyance. Sorry for the issue.
