No window shadows

See attached screenshot. On X11, these apps have window shadows and look fine.

Regression was introduced in commit 242544a0569981a5bfb057a1fb7bf721ca288e4c, "core: Drop Toplevel::bufferMargins()".

This was a temporary git master regression, which should be fixed now.
