SUMMARY
The clipboard is completely filled with files when they are being moved, so that the actual clipboard contents are evicted from the history entirely.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Use "cut" on some files
2. Paste those files in another folder

OBSERVED RESULT
The clipboard is spammed with lists of files being moved, with one less element each time until none is left.

EXPECTED RESULT
The clipboard has one element at most with files being copied.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux: KDE neon
KDE Plasma Version: 5.21.2
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.79.0
Qt Version: 5.15.2

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
I noticed the issue appears to show up most frequently when the files are copied to my NAS over NFS. I copy a few image files to that location and the issue has always been reproducible so far.
Adding the option to ignore files as per 349509 would also help with this issue.
