SUMMARY I use Flameshot as screenshotting tool. In previous versions of Plasma/Frameworks I created custom shortcuts using configuration file https://github.com/flameshot-org/flameshot/blob/master/docs/shortcuts-config/flameshot-shortcuts-kde . Now shortcuts don't work and I'm unable to change them. When I go to settings, I see group "Custom Shortcuts Service" where I can see "Take screenshot" with "Print" shortcut, but I can't see or change DBUS action. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Install Plasma 5.19 2. Import https://github.com/flameshot-org/flameshot/blob/master/docs/shortcuts-config/flameshot-shortcuts-kde 3. Upgrade to Plasma 5.21.1 OBSERVED RESULT Print shortcut does not work. EXPECTED RESULT Flameshot should be started. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux/KDE Plasma: Manjaro Testing KDE Plasma Version: 5.21.1 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.79.0 Qt Version: 5.15.2
KHotkeys is deprecated FWIW. Flameshot should be using DBus activation directly via KGlobalAccel and avoid the roundabout trip through KHotKeys.
I'm also using my own keyboard shortcuts for rotating screen. Now I see them in Custom Shortcuts Service, but they don't work and I can't change them. Is there a way to re-add shortcuts like these?
Remove them and re-add then, maybe?
Agreed. But I don't seen any option how to do it. I can only add shortcut for application launch.
Well it seems that the problem was missing khotkeys package. When I installed it, KCM "Custom Shortcuts" appeared and shortcuts started to work.
That would fix the problem, yeah. :)
