Hi Felipe I can confirm by following your steps I can reproduce the bug. Reproduced steps: Dragging pinned icon on the desktop and selecting "Add Icon" Clicking the newly added icon. (Tested with System settings and Discover) Results shown: A second Icon is displayed and loaded at the IOTM Taskbar instead of the pre pinned one, which was dragged to the desktop. My System/OS Version: Operating System: Fedora 33 KDE Plasma Version: 5.20.5 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.79.0 Qt Version: 5.15.2
Have you tried any other Icons?
I tried with Dolphin, Konsole and System Monitor, the bug only happens with pinned icons (Dolphin and Konsole on my case), panel behaves normally when testing with System Monitor (not pinned).
Ok thank you for confirming, I have also tested with Gwenview, konsole and Dolhpin I can confirm I am also getting the same result as before and is still showing a loading duplicate of the pinned application after the icon is added to the desktop. But when these are run straight from the Application launcher they load fine with no loading duplicate. I tested a non native application KeepassXC and the same issue occurred with the loading duplicate in the IOTM taskbar. So conclusively it looks like a bug with applications added to the desktop from the IOTM taskbar.
Can reproduce when the app being launched is not already open. Works fine otherwise.
