The buttons on the Huion pen PW500 don't work when they are mapped to mouse clicks. The cursor moves. The brush outline stays stuck and no action is invoked. The button of the pen still works on dockers, other programs, and on the OS in general. The only way to get it working is incomplete: you need Krita to lose focus, then press the pen button over the canvas to make it recognize the click. This is especially bothersome when you are used to navigating through this click instead of the space bar + left click combo. The tablet is a Huion Inspiroy WH 1409 v2 (I believe Deevad has a v1) STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. open a document in Krita 2. use a button mapped as a click on the canvas OBSERVED RESULT The cursor moves, but not the brush outline (as if painting on a locked or group layer) EXPECTED RESULT Easy life SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS macOS: 11.2.2 (20D80) ADDITIONAL INFORMATION I cut my thumb tip yesterday, it's uncomfortable to draw :'(
For example, try to show the popup palette if you mapped to right-click Or try to navigate without left-clicking (so just hover over the tablet) if you mapped the button to the middle click
I'm afraid I cannot test this. The driver for MacOS refuses to recognize my H610 on my M1 mac mini. I don't want to install Huion drivers on my painting macbook pro, because last time I did that, it completely messed up the system and broke the wacom drivers...
I don't have a Huion anymore so...
Okay, let's close this report then, thanks for getting back!
