SUMMARY
Kate exits when click on 'Configure Kate...' or press 'Ctrl+Shift+,'

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Launch Kate by double-click.
2. Click on 'Settings' menu.
3. Click on 'Configure Kate...' menu.

OBSERVED RESULT
Kate exits in about 1 second. The configure dialog didn't appear.

EXPECTED RESULT
The configure dialog should appear.

Sorry that this crashes for you.

Could you try a new build, e.g. from

https://binary-factory.kde.org/view/Windows%2064-bit/job/Kate_Release_win64/

That works for me, I will update the Windows Store version to a fresh build in the next days, too.
