SUMMARY
When the screen is locked automatically while receiver + TV are turned off, the lock screen is freezed at the time the TV + receiver is turned on again. Entering the password works though, but there's no text field shown. The mouse cursor is visible and movable. A video is available here, showing the issue: https://youtu.be/HSTeyBRhTys


STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Connect PC to receiver
2. Set automatic screen locker
3. Turn off TV + receiver
4. Wait until screen is locked
5. Turn on TV + receiver
6. Observe

OBSERVED RESULT
The lock screen is freezed

EXPECTED RESULT
The lock screen is not freezed, reacts to user input, shows text field and updates time

Can you clarify what you mean by "receiver"?

I have never seen something like this, this would need some more investigation to be able to take action. It may as well be any other part of the stack that is broken, from graphics drivers to the greeter.

Can you test with a newer Plasma version and see if it has been addressed?
