Screenshot of faulty clips in track

SUMMARY
Bits of the audio track are missing except for some and some markings where there had been audio clips

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. An audio mp3 file was loaded into project bin
2. The audio clip was introduced into audio track
3. The clip in the audio track was cut up and bits of it were distributed to match the video clips
4.The project was saved and closed
5. The audio mp3 file was edited by adding additional content.
6. When the project was restarted again most of the bits of clips in the audio track had vanished with just vertical markers remaining where the bits had been before.

OBSERVED RESULT

Where there had been audio clips before nothing but markers of the beginning and end remained
EXPECTED RESULT
The audio track should have been the same as before cahnging the audio file.

What exactly do you have added in the MP3 file? How do you have done that? Do you shorten the MP3 file as well?

Try: right click on the MP3 in the project bin -> Replace clip -> does it work?

I added additional sound track to the original one. So the new sound track had been larger than the old one.
As the bug occurred already 3 months ago I just can't do an ymore what you suggested. I think to get on with the project I deleted the old sound track clip and introduced the new one, spreading it to the suitable spots of the video.

In this case if you don't mind I close this bug.

If it appears again in the latest version, please feel free to re-open it and update the affected version number.

Thanks a lot. I've done a fair amount of editing with version 21.04.0 appimage and didn't record any failures. Excellent work!
