Krita has a default tag named "My Favorties". Its name gives the impression that user should assign their favorite presets to this tag -- just like the "Favorite" Blending Mode category. However, any change done to this tag will be reset after restarting Krita. Probably the same for other default tags as well. I've heard many complains from uses who got very confused by this issue. Is this intentional as a sample tag? If so, I recommend changing its name to something less relavant. If a user must create a new local tag for customization (which is not a good idea in my opinion), we should give people a hint about this limitation. This is a report on behalf of a Japanese Windows 10/Steam user, I've confirm this issue on Archlinux/AppImage too. It's probably also the reason why I have never been using the default tags -- although I totally forgot the details.
Tagging is pretty broken, and part of why we've been doing a resource rewrite for 2 years now. This bug should be fixed in 5.0
