Created attachment 135983 [details] Link to video showing the issue SUMMARY When opening or closing certain XWayland windows with the Scale effect enabled, the window borders are not drawn perfectly fit to the window's contents and a dark line may appear in between. The problem appears to go away if the window is maximized at least once. The issue is made more obvious when the Scale effect is configured to be slower. Please see the attached video. I am unable to reproduce the issue in a Plasma X11 session. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Have the Scale effect enabled in a Plasma Wayland session. 2. Run `QT_QPA_PLATFORM=xcb dolphin` so that Dolphin is ran as a XWayland client. 3. Press F10 in Dolphin to open the "New Folder" dialog. The dialog window will suffer from this issue. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Operating System: Arch Linux KDE Plasma Version: 5.21.0 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.79.0 Qt Version: 5.15.2 Kernel Version: 5.10.16-arch1-1 OS Type: 64-bit ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Thank you.
Window borders becoming de-synced from window content :/
Can you still reproduce it? I could not reproduce it, having the "Scale effect" enabled on openSUSE TW with Plasma 5.24.0 on Wayland, following your instructions.
