SUMMARY
Experimenting with the Wayland session for the first time, I found that menu items do not show up in a completely unrelated part of the screen. 

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Start Plasma Wayland session.
2. Open any KDE application (e.g. Kate, Konsole, etc.)
3. Click on any menu item.

OBSERVED RESULT
The menu items appear on some random area on the screen, completely detached from the application in question (see screenshot).

EXPECTED RESULT
Menus should show up in the correct location.
