SUMMARY
Sometimes when plasma-browser-integration-host is used on Wayland with Firefox, it immediately crashes and restarts repeatedly until my whole panel is filled with Dr. Konqi systray icons.

This problem doesn't always happen. Sometimes plasma-browser-integration-host starts up just fine with no crashes, but it may crash after closing and re-opening Firefox.

I haven't been able to reproduce this in Chromium.

If I start Chromium with the plasma-browser-integration addon enabled, that seems to cause plasma-browser-integration-host to not crash with Firefox for the rest of the session.

Unfortunately, I can't get a back trace because every time I try to look at the backtrace in Dr. Konqi, it says the debugger quit unexpectedly.

Before doing anything related to reproducing the bug, log into a Plasma X11 session and disable the plasma-browser-integration addon in your browser. That way you won't be immediately spammed to death.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Log into a Plasma Wayland session
2. Start the browser
3. Enable the plasma-browser-integration addon

OBSERVED RESULT
plasma-browser-integration-host repeatedly crashes and restarts

EXPECTED RESULT
plasma-browser-integration-host should not crash

Can't do much without a backtrace. There was a bug in 5.21 beta on wayland which should be fine in the final.

Hi,
I experience the same issue on openSUSE Tumbleweed KDE. I could not get the backtrace because KDE crash handler said the crash information cannot be generated. Do you know how to do it without KDE crash handler?

Can't reproduce neither with Firefox nor Chrome neither in native Wayland nor XWayland mode

I could not get gbd to capture the process.
I use "gdb -pid 18045" and it say "ptrace: No such process. The program is not being run."
Do you know how to make it start logging even if the process does not start or run yet?

coredumpctl info

Same issue for me

Used coredumpctl --no-pager and coredumpctl gdb for a backtrace, but I couldn't find a package related to plasma-browser-integration-debuginfo

I think you need to enable "openSUSE-Tumbleweed-Debug" repository in YaST software repos.

Here's the updated file with the proper debuginfo installed, do I need to take any more steps for more info?
