Description Sourabh Singh 2021-02-14 10:59:06 UTC
SUMMARY

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. In terminal type spectacle -c -f
2.
3.

OBSERVED RESULT
Screenshot doesn't get copied to the clipboard.

EXPECTED RESULT
Screenshot should get copied to the clipboard

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Windows:
macOS:
Linux/KDE Plasma: KDE neon 5.20
(available in About System)
KDE Plasma Version: 5.20.5
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.78.0
Qt Version: 5.15.2

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
This does work when spectacle is open in the background. I've bind it to a shortcut and the copy to clipboard doesn't work but the screenshot gets saved.

The workaround is to keep spectacle running.

Works for me in Spectacle 21.08. The fix is possibly related to https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=411263.

Feel free to reopen if you still encounter the problem!
