Description smit 2021-02-13 13:13:41 UTC
SUMMARY

After 3 incorrect logins I got locked out and had no idea why this was happening. lock was only saying "Unlocking Failed". I had to go to tty which gave me correct message why this was happening. It can get really scary when you don't know the reason why you can't login with correct password.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Lock the screen
2. Type incorrect password more than 3 times
3. Try to unlock account

OBSERVED RESULT

Lock Screen says "Unlocking Failed"

EXPECTED RESULT

Lock Screen says "Account is locked due to 3 incorrect login attempts" or something similar message
