Screenshot of the Audio - System Settings Module

In the "Audio - System Settings Module" dialog, the names of audio devices are pointlessly truncated, when there's plenty of horizontal space to display them fully in the combo box.

Due to this I was unable to see the end of the device names, which is the key information ("HDMI 1/2/3" vs. "Speakers"), until I reized the window to some ridiculously long width.

lol that's terrible!

Unfortunately this is an issue with the combobox itself. Apparently it's already fixed in Qt 6.

Also in Plasma 5.21, the combobox's manually-specified width is a bit wider, so maybe it's at least improved.
