NOTE: THIS IS NOT REGARDING THE KDE DESKTOP ENVIROMENT. THIS BEHAVIOR WAS OBSERVED WHEN USING KONSOLE IN GNOME.

SUMMARY
When closing Konsole, the program still appears visible in the favorites bar.
This can be mitigated by editing the .desktop file for Konsole.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open Konsole
2. Close Console
3. View the favorites bar

OBSERVED RESULT
KDE is listed as running

EXPECTED RESULT
KDE is not listed as running

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Kernel: Linux 5.8.0
Operating system: Pop!_OS 20.10
Desktop environment: GNOME 3.38.2
Terminal emulator: Konsole 20.08.2

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
This problem can be easily mitigated by removing the line "StartupNotify=true" from the file /usr/share/applications/org.kde.konsole.desktop

I don't see that this is a Konsole issue, you need to report that to the matching GNOME part.
