SUMMARY Automount of another partition fails (used to work) STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Make sure to have another partition to mount (mine is NTFS) 2. Set automount in system settings 3. OBSERVED RESULT Partition is not mounted when I log in. EXPECTED RESULT Plasma 5.19 used to mount it no problem. I was prompted for password at each login and the partition was mounted then. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Windows: macOS: Linux/KDE Plasma: fc33 5.10.13-200.fc33.x86_64 (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: 5.20.5 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.78.0 Qt Version: 5.12.5 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION I've tried all combinations of options in the "Removable devices" page with no luck. Worth noting: - I have no problems in mounting the aforementioned partition - There has been a period in which sometimes automount worked, some other didn't - now it's totally broken. no matter what I select, it simply ignores me.
Is this partition located on a removable usb/thunderbolt-plugged-in device or an internal device?

Thanks. I've heard of other people complaining about internal partitions no longer automounting.

listing partitions of internal devices in "Removable devices" KCM is confusing. They should be removed from the KCM or KCM should be renamed and references to "removable media" removed from it.
Are you able to reproduce this issue in Plasma 5.25 or later?

Oh great!
