something like 15 years ago there was a small art soft that allowed to record brush strokes to replay them. It resulted in ultra-lightweight time lapses. Then if this can be exported to video like Procreate does (at customizable speed/duration/step ranges) Krita would have such a nice feature. Also, this would allow people to share very easily videos and art processes on social networks (which is also what worked for Procreate). That would make tons of attention for Krita
We used to have an action recorder that could do replays. That never was completed. But we do have a recorder now in master that records to images that can then be assembled into a clip with a tool like kdenlive.
Oh, and you can even with ffmpeg export to a clip from within Krita.
Then I hope I can switch to master someday or get back to a Linux system...Can't wait to try this out !
We're working hard on getting master ready to be released as Krita 5. Can we close this wish with this information?
