A video clip showing Kdenlive's behavior

SUMMARY
Audio cuts in and out repetitively, almost sounds like its playing the audio stream at like 10 times speed, because nothing is legible. The attached video is me playing Pavlov with my friend and we're talking, but you can't even make out words. Sometimes this bug fixes itself when it goes to another cut, and other times it just doesn't, and the bug appears seemingly random, happens no matter where I am in the video. Had this issue in 20.11 so I updated and still have it

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open project
2. Move timeline seek to desired position
3. Press play

OBSERVED RESULT
Audio stuttering and not playing back properly

EXPECTED RESULT
Audio and video are synced and understandable

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Windows: 10 VER1903

Goto settings -> configure kdenlive -> playback -> Audio Driver: Wasapi or DirectX. Still the same?
Comment 2 laqco.spammoq 2021-02-13 19:41:24 UTC
I have the same issue - my audio driver was Wasapi. None of the others helped to fix the issue.

I think this is a kdenlive-coded problem...

I have this issue too, but only when I first pause and then replay :( I changed my audio driver to Wasapi, and also tried winmm and directsound. none worked :(
