SUMMARY
Problem with Emmet, expand abbreviation.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Start Kate. In untitled document p <expand> works, bq>p <expand> crashes. Always.
2. In many cases a <expand> is also enough to crash Kate.

Qt 5.14 is known to crash in these cases. Can you try Qt 5.15.2? It should be fixed there, can you confirm?

I can go as fast as Kubuntu updates come in, to not disturb the flow and coherence between packages. In view of your comment, we could wait for such updates or close this bug report. In case the bug persists, I could then later reopen.
