SUMMARY


STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. in a mail select option to create an event
2. a dialog box opens with default calendar selected
3. fill the different fields then record the event

OBSERVED RESULT

The event is not created in the default calendar.
The event is created in the calendar before the default calendar in the list of calendar.

EXPECTED RESULT

The event is created in the default calendar.

I made an error

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. in a mail select option to create an event
2. a dialog box opens with as selected calendar the first calendar in the list
3. don't pay attention to the selected calendar because you assume the selected calendar is the default one
4. fill the different fields then record the event

It's not a bug. It's intentional as we don't want to use default korganizer calendar, we want to use the previous calendar as we use for created event.

In this case why setting a default calendar ?

it's a default calendar for korganizer.

it's a default calendar for korganizer not for kmail event plugin.
If you want to use same calendar in kmail even plugin select first your default calendar and each time that you will want to create a even it will select this one.
