Description Roxane 2021-02-07 19:59:18 UTC
SUMMARY
I don't even know how to describe this so I made a quick video (link at the end)
Basically, I made a video on the 20.12 appimage with a few tracks and effects. There's some chroma key, rotoscoping, bézier curves, key spill mop up, flippo & speed change. When i edit and pre-render, everything looks fine, but after rendering it's a mess. I rendered in mp4 with and without parallel processing, nothing worked.

So here's the video, first is the rendered failure, second is the slighlty choppy prerender, and last is a screenshot of the effects on one clip, they pretty much all have the same ones : https://youtu.be/rOw4eBGxr4E

can you try the 20.12.2 Appimage? We solved a bug that looks like yours in this version:
https://download.kde.org/stable/kdenlive/20.12/linux/kdenlive-20.12.2-x86_64.appimage.mmirrorlist
This version will be publicly announced tomorrow....

(comment written minutes before yours)
After spending more time to try to render this thing, i figured out that the weird white grain seen at the beginning is because of the bézier curves, and that there were some issues with the speeds (showing wrong parts of the clip eg my finger, but the actually clip on the timeline starts after that). When taking a speed-less clip and copying the effect minus the bézier curves, it rendered fine

(after trying that new version)
It worked perfectly! thank you so much
